Martin Chuzzlewit by Charles Dickens 1844. This lovely old First edition needs a new home and some slight repair. The spine has come away from the hard back covers.The frontispiece and vingnette title page are browned as is often the case with Dickens First Editions. The engravings show some browning while the text pages are bright and clean, Dickens himself proclaimed Martin Chuzzlewit to be his best work. Published by Chapman And Hall London
